Who we are

What we collect and why

When you use our quote form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company, postcode and the message you write. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and to provide a quote or service. If you email or phone us, we keep the details you give us for the same purpose. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

Who handles your data

• Formspree processes quote form submissions on our behalf and passes them to us by email. Their servers may be outside the UK.
• Our email provider and website host (GoDaddy) store the emails we receive and the files that make up this site.
• Cloudflare helps protect and speed up this site. Visitors’ IP addresses pass through it, and it may set a security cookie.
• OpenStreetMap provides the map on our Contact page. When the map loads, your IP address is sent to OpenStreetMap’s servers. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy for how it is used.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Cookies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Third-party services we use, such as Cloudflare (security) and the OpenStreetMap map, may set their own technical cookies. Our fonts are hosted on this site, so loading them sends nothing to Google.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them, and normally delete those that do not lead to work within 12 months. For customers, we keep the records the law requires, such as waste transfer and audit records, for as long as the law says.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email steph@grrltd.co.uk to do any of these. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
